Ink InSanity is the product of a lifelong dream.

 Born out of fear, this blog has been created to channel emotions and thoughts into words that are deep and meaningful to people who are willing to read and listen. And to mark the beginning of a journey to overcome the fear from which it was born.

 A daughter to an immigrant, I've lived half of my life outside the walls of the island I came from. And coming firsthand from a culture and family of contradictions and dysfunctionality, I have realized that I do not quite belong. Anywhere.

​

 Yet words give me comfort like chocolate to some, and coffee to others. Words are all there is and all there ever will be when it comes to my vulnerability. And words, I've realized will not earn me a place in society but they will surely show me that my voice is no less heard than others.

 And I hope the words would also give relief, fear and bring some to life as it has to me.
